The White Lion in the heart of Wherwell has been a popular pub for several centuries. Originally a coaching inn it still has large barns and accommodation for coaches and horse, which are, now function rooms. Adrian and Pat ensure that all their customers are contented. By popular demand, several nights are set aside for "Specials" such as Steak and Chips, Curry or Fish.

There are regular folk and blues evenings, which are well supported by regulars and music lovers. These events will be mentioned in the Chilbolton and Wherwell web site.

Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available which is of particular interest to anglers and local walkers.
