Hunt's began their business with John Deere in 1971 working out of a bungalow
in the village of Anna Valley. Slowly and surely this has progressed
through the last 34 years building into a large 3-depot company with
interest in another.

Hunt's have a strong relationship with John Deere, one of the premier manufacturer of agricultural equipment in the world. Deere started making a new type of plough in 1837, they believe in innovation. As the original John Deere said "They haven't got to take what we make and somebody else will beat us, and we will lose our trade." Deere & Company has continued throughout its history to place a strong emphasis on product development and improvement. It has consistently devoted a higher share of its income to product research and development than most other companies in its industries.
R.Hunt's business like Deere is based upon customer satisfaction. Today they have an annual turnover of approximately £8,000,000 and up to 30 people working for them. The
business is family owned and run.
