Pictures of Chilbolton taken by  Doreen Rowles, Alan Crisp and others at various other times of the year

In 1984 there was a WI national campaign to encourage members to do something new in the community so a Flower Show was suggested which we held with a Craft Fair that Autumn. We won a Hampshire Village Ventures award for it as well.  At the Show we asked for people to sign up if they wanted to have a Horticultural Society. A number of people were keen, and we started
that in 1985.
There has been a Show every year since then, except for 2003 when illness
meant we had to cancel it at the last minute.
